new 997tt
Welcome aboard! Beautiful car...
541 hp, 638 lb-ft is APR's claimed gains with US 93 octane fuel with a ECU flash alone.
I'm a little skeptical. There have been a few magazine reviews, but I haven't seen any performance data, trap times, 60-130 runs, 0-200 pbox tracings. I wouldn't get too caught up in the "horsepower" game...APR (and many other tuners) produce excellent products, but dynos can easily be misinterpreted as absolute performance.
My personal recommendation is to combine an ECU flash with an exhaust change...it is probably the best "bang for the buck" combination available.

The short version -
You can go many levels with your car . The basics are suspension , ecu, exhaust , intake , intercoolers , wheels . Pick any of thse items and a forum debate will follow because each person loves his car .
You are more than welcome to PM me and I wil tell you where I began 19 months ago and what led me and my car to where it is today.

congrats and welcome, love the color. As far as exhaust goes there are many choices, try to listen to as many as you can in person. These cars are definetly too quiet in stock form.
Hmmm. I can do it solo with one floor jack in less than three hours and the bumper stays on. If somebody is charging you 6hrs you're getting ripped.
I have had several exhausts on my car and currently run the tubi with zero drone, not too loud at all. But, I can see where some guys might not want to do it, esp if you're not able to DIY, then it could be a hassle. I hate a 'loud' exhaust myself and would never toloerate one on a daily basis. The benefits of the right exhaust are better sound, faster spooling of the turbos, less EGT. I don't think a exhaust alone will void a warranty, but the ecu will void it without a doubt. At the track, you gotta have some form of exhaust, just can't hear it at all!
