I'm looking for opinions:

I am in the process of purchasing these wheels (mounted on the red RT12 in this photo)...they are a forged version of Ruf's 5 spoke wheel. The ones in this picture are 20s, I'm planning on putting 19s on my black 997TT (if someone could photoshop, that would be great.)

I would leave it polished or possibly gunmetal grey.

Unless you are going for the all-black "look," my vote for wheel finish on a black car is either silver/polished alum., because I like to have the contrast between wheel and car, or flat non-shiny gunmetal grey, which I am liking more and more, and more. In particular for whatever reason yellow brake against gunmetal grey wheel melts me.

I think it's so hard to see the interesting details of a black wheel and the effect the spoke design have on the overall look of the car. But this is purely personal preference & don't mean to be critical of those with this choice.

 

those wheels are sick, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the finishes.

 

I always liked their wheels. how heavy are they, forged/cast?
They look similar to the new 5 spoke champion rim.

I don't have direct information from RAC...Wayne wasn't sure how much the 19's weighed. The RG5s are cast, these are forged. Rumors from a friend who works in Ruf Japan says they are 21/25 lbs.
