196.7 mph First shakedown pass of the day. TX mile EVOMS EVT850
The car looked great. Not in the least bit practical. I can tell they do good work by the speeds, but I can't imagine anyone buying this to see their motor blow. The car sounds like a Cummins diesel and after listening to it, I don't think the durability is there. One thing about it, about half way down the track, it hits warp speed in a way not imagined. Just disappears, but takes way too long to get going. That car would explode on a track.

That is a purpose built car and it definitely fits the purpose for a few people. It's fine if I'm not one of em. I have nothing bad to say about them or their work. They make a fast car.
Actually I have spoken to several service Managers of various Porsche dealerships. That HP in that block doesn't work for long. That's a fact from others besides me. Sorry you disagree, but it is perfectly fine. I doubt that car has 1000's of track miles under that HP and set up.

+1 Service managers actually specialize in oil changes.
I don't think it is an unreasonable thought that our tweaked motors are going to have some sacrifice in service life. It is something that most of us come to recognize as an acceptable risk.
