Did you do ONLY the intake ? I ask this because my first install was intake .headers.exhaust. intercoolers/flash .

My car came back very different than how it went in . That's why when someone asks about gain I had an entire package result rather than a single part.

yrralis1 i did the intake and exhaust together so like you it is impossible to tell the gains from only the intake, but feel it 's got to help. It's just like the Ram Air on my 428 cobra jet in the 68 Shelby GT500KR any time you can force more cold air in has to help,IMHO i know these aren't muscle cars but the same theory applies doesn't it.

Did you flash the Ecu ? Also I added the IBD plenum . All this was before making the jump to 700 . Still kept the intake and plenum . Even kept the Tubi until I decided to go race version .

There are so many parts working in combination and my car has gone through so many transformations as it evolved it to this current level that its hard to remember every detail .

ECU flash is critical . Intercoolers would complete this stage . did you get headers ? These additions combine nicely . I like Milltek and Fabspeed tips . Nice stuff,

Carbon and steering wheels are pretty stuff but it doesn't make the car go faster .

hi yrralis1
i've done tubi race headers, race cats and remoras along with GIAC retune. in the process of doing werks1 air intakes and champion sport club intercoolers. wanted to do turbo upgrade dealer advised against it stating 630hp is enough power; i tend to agree and also stated i would have to retune ecu (just did it. it wasn't cheap $$) did H&R springs and sways. looked into Bilstein but again dealer against it; stated that if i only track 1-2x per year ride to harsh for dd. ( i have 4 kids: BUSY!) also did some interior upgrade though interior was well optioned @ purchase. any thoughts on champion's intercoolers? 630-650hp is probably my power limit

Since you already have the GIAC ECU, they have an seperate updated intercooler file if you do decide to get the intercoolers. Its race gas power but only on pump gas.

I have Evoms intercoolers . 8K miles on my car and they were installed at 200 miles . Not one problem . As for the dealership questiong yoiur Hp requests it's all down to this --whose car is it --yours or theirs ?

I found H and R were very low . I chose Techart --still have them too but the Bilsteins are amazing . Ask the other forum --members many have then and drive daily .

You won't get 630 -650 withut a Turbo upgrade and you will get even more with the cats off and a race exhaust on 93 octane . I had the regular Tubi and still have it sitting amongst the collection of unused parts . The race is that much better . Shoot me a PM and I'll send you asmall sound clip of my exhaust . I can even send both to show you the difference.

I have yet to video my car . I need a track and a passenger who is willing to film it . My girlfriend was fine with filming up to about 600 Hp but beyond that level we drive slow-- so my videos now are slow speed . 700 can be very scary because the car can go so fast so quickly but the Evoms system completly blows away the stock Turbos . They operate the way the car should have come from Porsche .
