Good question.,.,, We must have super-rodents out here... You knowthis is Ca after all LOL

We have recovered "slow roasted" specimens in the past .

I myself have fallen victim to chewing of wires on my Supercharged Z06 where my launch controller is... This little mouse decided to chew through my "engage" line... One night, I went to use it to show a friend of mine, hit the button on my shifter, stabbed the throttle expecting to hold @ 2500 and she went straight to bouncing off the rev limiter and I freaked out. Pull off to the side of the road, pop the hood and found the broken wires on top of this little guy eating some of the weatherstripping too. Easy fix but scary that it could have been other wires instead of a non essential one etc...

Have a great weekend guys!!

Brian

I saw something similar to this on the news not too long ago. The guy had a new Scion xB and drove it daily but found a huge possum living in between the engine bay and the fender liner!!! This thing was big!!

Me too

I had the same problem in the same location last year after shipping my TT across country. Keep your parking area clean! I also put in one of those electronic anti-rodent kits in my garage, just to be sure. So far rodent free!

I pulled the battery cover off a 2009 turbo with 188 miles on it to find a rat bigger than a soda can standing there looking at me... it went down through a body drain and disappeared a few minutes later I opened the rear lid and it was on the air box... so it went over the gas tank and ran down the driveshaft to the back... 5k worth of damage later the car is fixed ...

Know what you mean

My turbo boost malfunctioned last fall. Discovered a rat had nested in the wiring harness and eated away. My car is also stored in a climate controlled garage. 600$ later problem solved, rat dead.
