Alot of valid points and here is mine. I have spent considerable time behind the wheel of both cars so here is my 2c. If it is a p-car has to be the turbo version..either 996 or 997. The base cars are slow as crap. I destroy them in my E63....forget in my Z or Viper. I can't give my opinion on the new 385 version, have not driven it. The 'feel' of the two cars, like others have said, is different. I don't necesarily think the porsche is better..just different. The steering feel i think is tighter, more controlled in any model 911. Sounds of the Vette i like better. If you know how to drive the Vette will beat the porsche around the track. All this being said, the TT version is much different than the base or 'S' version....everything the same just alot more. That is why I would opt fot the TT. Which, by the way, will be replacing my 63 in a few months.
