Yep, you're absolutely right. The 997 GT2 is an absolute monster.

Thanks for the info. Post has been updated.

I drove a Gallardo Nera, and I must say I think the TT handles better and has more communicative steering.

like the F430, or our Turbo modified with Bilstein.
Or Motons... If you set up the TT right you can get a lot out of it. there are a lot of good suspension kits and a few ways to fine tune your alignment. great feedback Can!

Sport Auto magazine has already tested almost all of the cars listed above around the Hockenheim short track (except the Corvette ZR1). I've listed the results in order of time.

All of the cars listed below are bone stock (no modified suspensions). Some of the cars come with R-compounds which give them a large advantage in handling and one of the cars come with runflats which gives it a disadvantage. Regardless, here are the results:

-997 GT2 - 1:08.4

-Carrera GT - 1:08.6 (Sport Auto 01/04)

-F430 Scuderia F1 - 1:10.3 (Sport Auto 07/08)

-997.2 GT3 - 1:10.4 (Sport Auto 05/09)

-LP560-4 – 1:11.3 (Sport Auto 11/08)

-Corvette C6 Z06 – 1:11.5 (Sport Auto 04/06)

-997 GT3 - 1:11.7 (Sport Auto 07/06)

-997TT 1:11.9 (Sport Auto 05/07)

-Gallardo SE-05 1:12.2 (Sport Auto 11/05)

-F430 F1 – 1:12.7 (Sport Auto 01/06)

-Ford GT - 1:14.1 (Sport Auto 12/05)

-Exige MK2 240R – 1:15.3 (Sport Auto 06/08)

-Elise MK2 SC (220HP) – 1:16.5 (Sport Auto 05/08)

-EVO X MR SST – 1:17.8 (Sport Auto 07/08)

-Subaru WRX STi (300 HP) - 1:18.3 (07/08)
Thanks for sharing. I have taken my C6 to the same track i took my stock TT and it did better (C6 had the Pfadt Racing coilover kit on it) I think the C6 in general has a lot of potential on some tracks to do very good. the light tail just takes you through the corners so easy it's not funny. I am going to see if I can get a Moton kit for it and upgrade the sway bars.
