Navigation voice volume?

Is there a way to make the voice on the navigation louder. When directions are given you can barely hear the voice over the radio or CD.Thanks

Yes. It is a setting in PCM 2.1...I can't remember which tab it is under, but you can change the volume of the voice in relationship to the music, and choose between a man or woman's voice.

Just went to my car to figure out the steps:
from the main screen
1. push NAVI
2. push SET
3. Change the BOOST to whatever loudness you want ( i have mine at +3)

And thats pretty much it

NOW, if someone can tell me how to go to the next song with my steering wheel buttons...???

with multi function steering wheel, i use the right side "roller" to adjust stations and/or songs. left side roller adjusts volume.

I'm pretty sure all you need to do is turn up or down the volume when directions are being given and it will stay at that volume...at least it's always worked for me.
