Wheel Space Question

Is there any negative to putting 7 mm and 15 mm spacers on? Any chance of hitting the wheel wells? I am talking about a stock suspension car. Is there a greater chance of road debris hitting the paint? How about the handling, better or same or worse?

I've got 15mm in the rears on Bilstein B16 coilovers. Lowered approx. 1 inch all the way around. Looks much better and with the correct alignment(more neg camber in rears), it looks great. So with the spacers, now you have a wider track in the rears which can only mean better handling.

Scont or Neil, would you fellas happen to have a picture of the final product? I am curious to see a 997 Turbo with the spacers on it, as well as lowered.
