and the Turbo sits resting

I love my Turbo . I am commited to this car for the long run and just looking at it places a smile on my face . This car is so special to the core.
Yet I am having a fling with another Porsche ... the new PDK 997.2 which has become my daily driver . Having both cars actually heightens this state of Porsche driving bliss .
The the good old Turbo .. reliable , faster than rocket, loaded up with it's own special items which took months of planning . I will never forget this car . That's why i am not only keeping it .. I want to enshrine it as it has captured this very special place in my heart.
But .. what about the PDK 997.2 ? Well . it's different . it takes me to driving levels which are new and exciting , and treats me differently than the Turbo . I drive it more and worry less . I take it to places where my Turbo would never go in fear of a ding . It's more casual and impersonal .. it's just fun . In fact there's not even a low front lip to scrape .
My girlfriend even wants to drive it and I am thrilled about that. With my Turbo I prefer that no one drives it and most who know me realize what the car means to me and don't even ask . I savor every mile , and cherish every moment in the Turbo but with the PDK car I become less inhibited .
Having both of thse cars is like driving sensory overload and in many ways even though I wrote a lot sometimes I look at them and am left speechless.

I had a White 1985 300zx Turbo in high school.
My dream car. White was so easy to take care of and has a really classy look.
You are getting me to start thinking about how much I miss my normally aspirated 997.
I think I might drive by the dealership this week and low ball them just to see if they will bite. I actually want a Targa (white, some shade of silver).
I too will keep my 997 turbo. I love the car and I don't want to loose tens of thousands of dollars in the market at this time.

I had no idea that I was even going to buy a new car . In order to get a great price I knew that July 31 was the deadline because June sales poor there were cars at the port so inventory was backed up.
It was a matter of hitting the price and picking a car and my selection was limited . Even though there were a lot of cars there were very few which has the options I wanted .
Since this car will be more of a daily driver and since my gf will also drive it I felt that a white car (with no aerokits ) would add a softer and elegant hint to this performance car .
