Sharky at Sharkwerks also recommends to keep the stock air box.

How did your install go? Did you order the parts from AWE or did Tunerworks take care of that? I'm planning on purchasing a US car in the next 6 months or so and thinking of just shipping it directly to AWE to have the 650 package put on. What is BRV?

Last time I was in Calgary I couldn't believe how many laser speed traps there were, I assume you're being veeerrrry careful.

I rely on Tunerworks, who have done all the work on my cars, and from my experience you are in good and trustworthy hands. Yes, do the Bilstein's which give the car a more sports car "feel" - I enjoy this mod the most as you never get used to nor tired of the new feel.

Was the Canadian price for the package "reasonable" compared to the US price? I realize there's duty, shipping, brokerage etc... to be factored in.

Ah ha. thanks for that. They do have some nice stuff there too. I like the fact that they have real world numbers comparing their own stock 997tt to their upgraded ones.

+1 on keeping the good stock airbox.

I used 93 on that dyno run I posted (670 crank hp weather adjusted). I also did the BRVs and BMC filter. I recommend keeping your stock airbox.

I'd love to pull the trigger on damps and sways. Next stop for me is to make the car feel much more, well, let's just say, much less soft. My C63 ride is stiffer than the P-car

Looking forward to you posting your experience with it.

you cannot fully enjoy the merits of the engine mods without changing the ride quality. Upgraded coilovers, sway bars, drop links, lowering the car, and custom alignment will transform the car immensely.

The Canadian price premium for the upgrade via Tunerworks was totally reasonable.

Good to hear. I'll have to see if there's someone around Toronto that does that. Just learned that Pfaff sells the EVOM stuff. I was just looking at one of their midrange level products and it's listing a sub-11 second quarter mile. Love to get that to wipe the smile of my neighbour/buddy with the lightly modded C6 Z06!

the 650 car is WILD-like a sport bike-free and linear/almost exponential in accelereration-you will wipe neighbour-no doubt-however suspension needs to be tightened-too soft and mushy-tail happy on sharp corners and very jumpy over bumps
