Very logical Alex. I'm curious as to why three separate PDK ratings. Perhaps GT2, TURBO S configurations.

I wonder what AWE has to say about that!!
They would look at the numbers and then look at you and say "Do you know what the conditions were when those numbers were provided?"

Gene (eclou) provided those times...he did a granny launch at the Tx Mile event in 2008, with a significant headwind.

In fact, we have no idea what any of the conditions were for any of the runs that Alex has listed, with the exceptions of those who have provided pbox data. Temperature, incline/slope, headwind, passenger in car?, altitude...The numbers are at best for entertainment purposes.

All very good points. A much better source of information is here, on this very web site:
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...standings.html

In addition, although I liked the idea of Alex's table, it is a little misleading because some of the data come from test by magazine, some from Porsche, some from actual owners.

One could not, and should not, make the assumption, for example, that the performance of a Cargraphic Turbo tune given to a major magazine for testing will be duplicated by one owned by actual consumers.
This is why owners who are actually interested in performance number get actual PBOX to measure actual data.

No information is better than "incorrect" information. So the table might be high in entertainment value (I do think the word "dubious" someone used above is a little too harsh though. ), but I would suggest the above thread on 6speedonline 996 Turbo forum for real data.
