The new LED lights were a custom job, several memebrs of this forum have done so

i have a friend with a 997 TT, he has the Techart GT Sport kit (I think)
does the bumper and quarter panel have to be messed with?

yes it does. a good body shop can do the mods to the rear bumper. I do believe there's also some wiring mods needed.

The V-RT Rear Bumper Type II is an actual production piece and already has the provisions out of the box for the LED facelifted tail lights.

It is a true bolt-on product and does not require any body modifications other than purchasing the control modules from Porsche which can also be included with our kit.

The rear bumper also comes with dry carbon fiber diffuser & larger replacement intercooler shrouds made of dry carbon fiber for improved cooling.
