TT sold - pricing data point

After 6 months of agonizing, two weeks ago I put my '08 TT up for sale and sold it in 10 days. It had 6,800 miles and sold for $95K - prices on the TT's seem to have bottomed and may be recovering. Just a data point for those buying or selling.

The TT will be replaced with something that can get down my unpaved road at our new Montana home

I bet Montana is just very nice!
Get a big truck...

The TT market will adjust due to the negative reactions people are having with the new 3.8L, good luck finding something that works best.

It's fire sale time. First the 996TT's tanked, now watch the 997TT's drop!

I think the point was that 997TT prices have stabilized and perhaps strengthened a bit because folks seem to be less than enamoured with the new 3.8 engine offering.

What was the original MSRP?

I have a house on the Swan in Bigfork, I love MT, wish I could get there more often than I do! Have you done the drive yet from CA to MT? Its a nice one, my wife and I did the LA to MT then MT to SF, great time.

I was on Swan Lake yesterday. I'm now living on Flathead Lake, West shore off Rocky Point. I drove the TT up 93 from Yorba Linda earlier this summer, but had to keep the TT in my hangar at Polson Airport - unacceptable to have a car you can't bring home - not to mention no P car dealer within 400 miles! I'm trading fast cars for a slow life on Flathead Lake.

138K MSRP + about 10K in aftermarket stuff. I think the market for 07-09 TT coupes is strengthening.

Ebay, 6-speed and Autotrader; the AutoTrader ad sold the car.

I have a soft spot in my heart for 60's Triumphs -I have (cough, cough) 19 of them, a couple of Beezers, 1 each Norton and Royal Enfield. I also have one of the New Triumph Bonnevilles to ride when reliability is paramount

I was up there a couple months back when the 93 into Kalispell was getting re-surfaced, glad I was in a rental car!

Congrat on your sale!!

I too are trying to sell my 08TT. I hate it when dumbass buyer want to buy your car at auction price or at trade in value. If you can't afford to drive a Porsche than buy a Honda.

I had numerous offers in the high 80's - sight unseen. It isn't easy to politely decline these to hold out for a bit more. It was more my sense of equality than eeking another 7K out of the deal. The car was worth 95K. A grand slam would have been $100-102K but apparently the market won't support it.

Our 550i will make it down our road (albeit very slowly); I'm going to borrow a friends stock suspension 335 vert to try it ----and it doesn't high center replace the the TT with a 2010 335 vert for the nice summers and wonderful summer roads in Glacier National Park.
