Sn1p3r is infamous around these parts
You guys are pro, but as a newbie, I wont touch my gears. DSG and PDK are still not 100% after the behemoths working day in day out to excel. Will I ever trust a tuner that much? thank you.

You have to be making a lot of shifts to get a blister, that and have some seriously dainty hands.

I don't follow how it is only 200ms. Wouldn't that totally depend on how fast you are with the clutch?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but here is how I understand this works.

You pull paddle-hit stick, depress clutch, some little servos just move the shift linkage, then you release clutch. So all this does is make you that much lazier?

200ms gear change yes, actual shift is dependent on clutch deployment. And lazy is good if it leads to consistency at the track. Wonder why cup cars use sequential systems?

Save your Money

What a complete waste of $10k.

It looks very inner city. All you need is a little chain steering wheel and fuzzy dice to complete the package.

I am thinking no. If I wanted a true modern racing gearbox I would have opted for PDK. I can't see this taking off. They are 3 years too late with this product.

so what happens if you don't push the clutch in and try to shift? Or if you try to shift from 6th to 1st at 140 MPH?

Well, not that I have any experience on this, but with a conventional setup there is such thing as "speed shifting", correct? So presumably you could still do it. Re:going 6th to 1st at 140. I imagine many bad things would happen if you were "silly" enough to try it. Or nothing at all if some type of limiter/safety measure was in place.

In the video he states its the same system as Ferraris and Lambos, but I never saw an E gear Lambo or F1 tranny Ferrari with 3 pedals. Get rid of the clutch, I really don't see the real benefit of how this system should to be.

edit..
the more i watch the video, the more frustrating it gets! we really need a better explanation!
