Is there a way to repair/refinish brush finished door sills?

Hey guys,

My door sills are brushed finish (aluminum?) door sills. After leaving it to the valet guys to park my car a few times at nice fancy restaurants I noticed scratches on the door sills from their shoes rubbing/brushing up on it as they are leaving and entering my car. I'm pretty pissed about them scratching my door sills but I know its a lost cause if I were to make a deal about it. It's my own fault for leaving it to them.

My question: is there a way to refinish/repair these scratches? If so, can u refer me to someone in the Los Angeles area. Thanks.

The side sills are uncoated stainless. There is no clear coat, it is brushed stainless not aluminum. You can do a very simple repair of scratches using the same technique that is employed for repairing stainless appliances. Deep scratches that you can feel with your fingernail can be repaired with proper sanding with the correct equipment. You can get your repair to match the oxidized portions of the steel with oxidizers. Here is my example, with a kit that I have used with very impressive results:
