TPC Racing's New 3+ DampHR Coilovers!

A few of the people that were at our open house on sunday got a sneak peak on our newest suspension piece available for cars with PASM Suspension.

TPC Racing DampHR Coilovers

We start with a set of Damptronic coilovers from Bilstein, and machine appropriate hats and top plates. Further modifications are made to accompany the "correct" spring rates for the car(dont ask, i am not telling). Mike, our owner and head engineer has also reprogrammed the PASM control box to work ideally with the new spring rates. What this provides is a true dual natured PASM shock that is capable of club sport activities without compromise. A true PASM option that feels great on the street and is a monster on the circuit!

See next months issue of Excellence for the review of this system on our shop 800hp 997TT.

Feel free to ask questions!

Could you give a bit more explanation as to how this setup justifies the significantly higher cost compared to 'regular' B16 Damptronics? Thanks

They fronts are basically using the chassis of the shock and that is all. The mounts/springs/hats and top plate are completely different. The factory PASM settings are also redone. It it the shock that bilstein/porsche should have done in the first place.

Casey,

Very nice. It seems a lot of time and effort has gone into this package.
Would you please explain why you need to machine different hat & top plate? (And no, you don't have to tell us the spring rates. :-))

If I also may suggest sending this car to Excellence Magazine to be reviewed. A good review there might be worth a thousand posts!
I remember the Champion Werks 1 Turbo got "famous" because of a rave review in Excellence. Surprisingly, Champion never did put together a package to sell.

The shock is built for accomodating the bilstein spring. We made it work with a standard race spring. We source the top plates from JRZ and we then machine them to fit. Race parts really. And now with the PASM adjustments we can accomodate both a street and circuit application!

Not to mention the higher race spring rate will help with the massive power you guys are putting down. Well done.

Which car are you referring to? Our turbo is going to be in excellence with this suspension.

Never mind. I didn't realize you already have sent car to be reviewed. Very nice and look forward to reading it.

Is it Pete Stout doing the review?

Shipping a lot of our hot-rodded Damptronic suspension out lately but here is one we are doing in house.

Also, just got in our newest round of swaybars which are made to work with both the 997.1 and 997.2 cars.

Pictures of all of the stage 3+ parts together!
