I went from an E60 M5 to a 997TT and I do not regret it at all. It is very usable as a daily driver and the car just gives so much more feedback. Get one and never look back.

My 997TT is the best DD I'v ever had. I still have my modded BMW 540i which now just collects dust because I only want to drive my TT. Unless you have kids or need to transport a lot of gear, I think the 997TT is a brilliant all-rounder!

Thanks for all of the advice, much appreciated

I think I will look at a CPO 997TT later down the road (3-5 yrs). My 335 is paid in full and only has 17k miles on it; plus I only drive about 6k miles a year. I do want to try and get my money's worth out of the car ($15k+ in upgrades/mods) considering the low mileage. I will probably keep it around as my "beater" when I get the 997TT.

These are such magnificent machines, I don't think I want to spend any more on a car than the turbo so I should pace myself, I guess, I am only 30
