Congrats on your purchases! I just picked up my black/black '08 locally a few weeks ago. I was thinking about getting one from the W. Coast but I think the wait would have killed me! Got a good deal locally so it's all good.

Regardless, depending on what you're upgrading from, it's either a blow your mind experience or a life altering experience (like for me!).

The guys (and maybe gals - in my dreams) on this board are extremely helpful too.

One thing I didn't like about my E46 M3 was the steering. If the steering is anything like the 996, then the 997 will be razor sharp. Just sneeze and you'll end up in the next lane.

For me, it was a "I didn't know what I was missing" moment. I hope it is for you as well.

Yeah the people next to you at the stop light are gonna think your grinning at them & not know that you just let off the gas pedal,oh what a feeling .

 

Car won't be here 'til sometime next week. I have to go to Seattle next Sunday on business.....bummer. Watch it not get here until Saturday afternoon.
