Anyone know this car at Boardwalk Porsche in Texas ?
Abby: No problem, I'm gald to help in anyway. This forum has been a wealth of knowledge for me and I appreciate all the help. To answer your question, I didn't do a PPI on the car, I drove it and talked to the service manager and the actual technician who serviced the car. The manager told me ALL the Porsches at Parkplace get a oil change, an all wheel alignment as standard, and a thorough check head to toe; I believe them. After driving the car, it was pretty clear to me; I took my chances. Besides, I had the standard warranty so I wasn't concerned at all. If you get the CPO, I personally wouldn't think twice. Just make sure you love the color.
Handdoc: The rear wiper is one of those things where you love it or hate it. Nothing wrong with it; I have one on my 4-Runner and use it all the time. I just didn't like it on my Porsche; it's not a cheap option.
Tranman: Exhaust is the first thing on my mind. I don't know if you service your car at boardwalk but those guys are really mod friendly. One of the techs there races Porsches and he is sold on Europipes. After reading some of these post on this forum, there are a lot of good options that aren't as expensive as europipes. I'm still reading and learning. What time and day is the meet; is it sat & sun?

I dropped by today and the car looks great. It took awhile for them to find the car since the sales guy didn't know there was a deposit on it and they had it pulled in the back. I wasn't able to look inside the car, but from the outside, the front underlip spoiler has some minor rock chips that have been repaired and painted over. It sorta sprinkled today so the car looked a little dirty but have them throw in a good detail for you. I would definately get an invisabra on the car asap so the car remains perfect. let me know if you want to meet up when you are in town, i can show you the bra i have i have on my car and the tubi exhaust i have installed. I am about 5 minutes away.

Does the rock chips on the lip really visible? Maybe consider getting it repainted.
When i come down, we should definately meet up so you can show me your beast. I owe you a few beers too
Thanks alot for the help guys!! Does anyone know if Bumper Plugs makes a rear wiper removal plug for 997TT?
JTK:
I saw your white TT on youtube last night. No wonder you traded it in, it's a very nicely optioned TT with lots of attention to details. Looks amanzing!

I noticed it when looking. However, that lip piece on most car is just black and not painted. If you look at my car, it's all scratched up and scraped. You can buy replacement pieces for like 150 dollars from suncoast. I think the previous owner paid to get it painted, but depending on how you drive, it will get scraped up anyhow. I'm down for meeting up and showing you my car. I'll pm you my email or so and you can just email me.

Hello Abby.
I would love hear of any issues or problems you have importing the car.
I am in Vancouver and plan to do the same. With this dollar who wouldn't?
From what I understand you have to have the car inspected by a certified Porsche dealership in BC?
I have contacted MCL, and they are extremely vague about everything.
I guess they prefer I spend $140,000 and get an 07 straight from them
So I would love to hear how it goes. If they come up with any nonsense charges or whatever.
