That's what I'm afraid of based on the vids. As for motor-boaty, it is a Billy BOAT after all

I don't like the sound quality. They are notorious for drone and poor quality. i have seen several of their exhaust systems crack at the welds.

 

Fair enough. Think there was a recent thread on a Tubi that failed at the welds, so even the 'high end' stuff isn't impervious. But drone is not something I'll tolerate. My M5 droned like crazy and I swore I'd never do that again. Think my ears are still ringing and I got rid of that car 6 months ago

 

What kind of tone are you looking for and how much are you looking to spend? How loud do you want it to be?

What kind of exhaust did you have on the M5? I know exactly what you mean. My 996tt droned like there was no tomorrow and I just didn't drive it after a while.

 

Looking for aggressive as possible without drone. FVD is at the top of my list but just seeing what else is out there.

Had Eisenmann Race mufflers AND Evosport Headers on the M5. Now THAT was loud and droney.

 

Which ones have you heard in person so far? I would think FVD, Cargraphic Loud, and Tubi Race would be your 3 best choices. I just got my BBI Autosport custom exhaust installed and it just screams. Very GT3 ish.

But FVD def sounds the best on the vids I've seen. Cargraphic and Tubi race are still too 'mild' for me.

Sounds really good....sounds better when you get on it.
