Switzer
Switzer
I just finished installing my Switzer exhaust.
After a very brief ride here are my initial impressions:
The sound is AMAZING! there's no point in trying to record it, you just can't get a true representation on a sound clip. It is deep & rumbly at idle, smoothing out in higher RPM's no coarseness or harshness or vibration. NO Resonance or Drone. I couldn't get on the boost as too much traffic and slick roads, but I predict she'll wail nicely : )
Its not loud but pleasingly authoritative. I can this this one past my wife no problem.
I had another aftermarket non-crossover exhaust on my 996ttS and it was truly awful which made me nervous about this one, but no regrets at all.
For the record this is an all day job, some guys claim 4 hrs, I wish. But hey its fun wrenching when things work out like this.
