3 piece rims/ dealer said they are junk after 5k miles

Get a second opinion, we manufacture 3 piece wheels and we don't run into that problem, sometimes the dealers don't know how to deal with this, mounting the tires they could have damage the silicon and 20 miles after you have a flat tire. I would definitely get a second opinion.

It sounds like you are saying that 20" original equipment wheels do not bend. I have found that this is not the case, in fact if you took a poll of the 997 owners with OEM 19" wheels you will find that many have bent a wheel or two. Mercedes and Audi are notorious for bending stock wheels.

Not at all. One can bend any wheel. My point is that if one is experiencing bent wheel issues, more 3-piece wheels are probably not the answer.
I am sure that you have some really tough forged monoblock wheels you can sell them.
