Seeing 997 Turbos is an occasional occurrence in Chicago(maybe one or two a week) in the summer. Recently we had some snow in Chicago and while the snow was still on the ground I would see atleast 5 salt caked turbos a day...

Just an odd observation

 

Probably the guys driving L and F-cars in the summer are using the TTs as their winter beaters?

 

Mine is my winter beater, drives great with the Perilli snows

 

I drove my turbo in the snow,,, once.

 

Last week with windchill it was -15 here in michigan & i saw a beautiful 997 turbo playin in the snow. My jaw dropped

 

For those of us who run in real weather...the 997TT makes CRAZY power when it's cold outside. The trick is getting your car to stop...on ice.

 

The TT is great on ice and snow with some 3M covering and good (Sotozeros for me) tires. Just got to be a bit more gentle and keep an eye out for the drivers who think they can just stop a few inches behind you .

Nice to know there are others out there all year!
