I was in Dick's Sporting Goods today around 11 am and on my way out, I noticed a modded white 997 Turbo parked out front and it had an "RPM North" sticker across the top of the windshield. A really sharp looking car but you were parked in a handicapped spot without any visible pass showing. I hope you just aren't one of those people with nice cars that like handicapped spots b/c they're wide. My Aston was parked "safely", but I had to walk 300 feet to it...

 

I assure you that I have a pass... I forgot to put it in the window. I hope you're not one of those people that cruises parking lots checking for handicap passes. Lol. Next time stop by and I'll drive you to your car. -Showking

 

Glad that you do! Well, not really b/c it means there's something wrong with you. I cruise parking lots, but not looking for passes... I'm bothered by, as you should be even more, by people who feel it's OK to park in these spots b/c they have a nice car, are going to be "quick" in the store or some other kind of BS. If I have to park and walk a bit, so too should they. You probably should remember to display your pass, lest a really PO'd handicapped person takes it out on your "nice" car. I will stop and wait next time but I'm afraid I'll have to "drive me to my car" b/c I'd like to sample what you've done

 

LOl.. I got you. Yeah I had a collapsed lung a couple of years ago.. Thank God not too bad, but annnoying nonetheless. I usually don't forget, but the coolest guy and his son stopped me to talk cars. It was freezing out there, but it was a good conversation. I'm a parking lot guy as well.. Which one, EM, F'dale or Islandia? Are you looking to take over and have them shut down the lot or something that you needed to call? Day or night and is both Saturday and Sunday under consideration?

 

I called the one by the Fresh Meadows movie theatre. I called them because I didn't want to just show up with a bunch of people and then have no place to park.. or no room inside for us. The guy was cool on the phone. He said no problem... I was looking to do it on a Sunday, obviously because most people are off. The only issue with Sunday is NFL. He said they get really busy with NFL.. So he mentioned doing it on a Saturday or waiting until NFL was over. So we're working on it. I think Sunday is best for most people, so I'm gonna try for it. I will be speaking to the general manager today and I'll let you guys know. Thanks -Showking

 

I haven't been to that one, but the one on Hempstead Tpke in E. Meadow has a huge lot and is 30 seconds off the Meadowbrook. Those reasons might make it a better choice than FM...

I love when i ride with my buddy shaun who has an SUV on 26's and looks as normal as anyone.. However he has had 3 kidney transplants and is on disability for life.. His license tag is handicapped so he has nothing for the window.. A woman said " you dont look handicapped".. I had to curse this ***** out and ask her WTF does handicapped look like you obese *****.. You dont need 1 leg to be handicapped.. I hate the parking lot commando's..
