I am sure you understand, but all is good now
btw to everyone, thank you very much for the kind words.
after a couple days i was very comfortable with driving stick, havent grinded the gears at all. Never misshifted into too low a gear.
I am almost perfect at rev-matching now, practicing heal-toe, and all is well! i love the turbo!!!

I understand. I've always found the holidays a hard time to be out in the world. People tend to run themselves ragged and somehow miss the idea that they're not the only ones.
It really is a gorgeous combination and just a side note, I've had my car over three years and still find myself stressing about the first shift at a light if I think about it too much. It's especially embarrassing when you stall after you've noticed somebody admiring it. I've done that before.

Congrats on the 2007 Turbo. I got mine last summer and it is the most awesome car I ever owned. You will love the acceleration and the handling. Take a cruise down PCH on a sunny day through Newport, Corona Del Mar and Laguna. Guaranteed to bring a big smile on your face Best of luck with it!
