elite1967 is infamous around these parts
Hi,
I really can't see them.
Don't know why.

I am posting from Italy, but refereshed the page with F5 and even ctrl+F5.

Also, I copied the link of one image (http://www.picvault.info/images/537095619_IMG_3221.JPG) but did not work either: got a blank page with no errors...

What else could it be?

Jeez, for a car that chews up plugs pretty quickly, this looks like a serious pain in the @$$. Not looking forward to doing this. In comparison, I can change all 4 plugs on the Exige in 10 minutes.

I was really surprised to see 996 P/N coils on a 997 turbo-

As stated earlier in the thread, that's one of the first things us 996 guys upgrade to as they're a better design...

If you're doing plugs, might as well upgrade your coils!

My block has a 964 part number! All 996s did until 04 when they started using the "Spanish block"

Jay sorry for the 4 year late reply. If you ever committed to this job it would be insane not to change the coilpacks while you already got them out and there's fresh blood on your knuckles lol

Hi,
I replaced the original coilpacks by the thicker Beru coilpacks
To have somewhat more space to insert and tighten the screws in coilpack 3 and 6 I modified them.

Regards
Hans
