u forget the margin of safety porsche puts in from the factory, as well as emissions related detuning, weather/altitude variance detuning, and especially fuel variance detuning. When someone makes a good base map for these cars, they are simple and tested maps that just take a way a little bit of the safety porsche has alotted, usually 98/100 times, the "tune only" cars should go just as long if not longer as a completely stock one as sometimes the tuning makes the car even better than from the factory in driveability/gas mileage...etc.

This is a year old dead thread, and you are arguing against a member who has been banned.

Would you like to guess what the EGTs are on my GT2 after 3 laps around Road America with a flash and stock 600 cell cats?

Are there any dealers for Manthey ? 'cause they dont seem to reply to emails.
Thanks
which email are you using?

i wrote them last month, they replied within 24-48 hrs. i wrote their German address. i thought they didn't reply, but their mail wound up in Gmail's spam folder...

they're generally quite good at answering, from the little experience i have (ordering wheels from them)

Actually he was spot on and backed it up with data. Don't confuse a one hit wonder dynojet tune with something that can sustain power over significant amounts of time.
