Manthey M600

Hi All ,

Manthey Motors offering a 600 hp package for the GT2 , the kit include :

MM intercoolers, sport catalysts, titanium rear silencer , titanium tail pipes, MM motornic, sport clutch , friction plate.

It's add 70 hp and 100 Nm.

And it's for 22500 Euro.

Any idea or thoughts about this kit ?

That is a lot of Euro's for not much of a power gain. For that kind of mone talk with Protomotive and get a bunch more power.

Don't let the Porsche tax get to you. There are quality kits from reputable shops here in the U.S. and you get much more for the dollar.

They probably have a warranty but you can buy alot of repairs for the price difference.

Thanks all for your replays,

I am not looking for crazy horspower ! as all of you know that the GT2 is a beast and rear wheel drive its not easy to control if you put much horspower in it , it will spin like hell ! i am looking for instant response and smooth power for the tracks and for the street use and most important the reliability !

Thanks

What is the warranty for Manthey? I'd also suggest you see if the porsche dealers in Dubai do any aftermarket installs, it would be easier to obtain servicing (though not necessarily retain warranty) if you have them do the install if they have a preferred tuner.

600HP, RS Tuning/Cargraphic works great for me, exactly what you said, quick boost with a very super smooth power band!
I have no issues at the track, easy to drive...of course with a light foot!
Have not come across the US tuners so I can't compare?!

That seems like a lot of money for a nominal power increase.

With the EVOMSit software flash on an otherwise stock GT2, you can expect power gains of 62hp/60tq, all while maintaining reliability and perfect daily driveability. We have completed many of these flashes and every customer has been thrilled with the results.

7GT2s all come in at around 540PS from the factory, +62hp from ECU tune only is too aggressive and not real power, there will be too much heat (from back pressure/boost) and the high IAT will retard the timing and drop the power off - not a good way of tuning a 7GT2...... IMO
