turbo school

I just bought at 997tt, contacted the Porsche school at Barber about a month ago and they indicated they may not be offering the turbo school b/c open question on whether Porsche was going to support them with tt's this year.

They just confirmed May 6 (after the May 4-5 precursor performance school) as a live date, for others that may have been waiting to hear. Only 15 students.

i've done the 2 day as well as the Masters and it's a great time. 1st class in every respect from the track to the instructors.

With that said, i don't really see the value in the TT course. It's almost the same price as the 2 day course. If you haven't done it, i'd suggest you just do the 2 day course. I think the TT course is a bit of a rip off IMHO.

Doing them back to back, the 2 day is a prerequisite. Donno if its a value or not, I road dace motocycles, this will be my first foray into cages on the track. But I bought a tt, so I want some track time with one with some instruction. Not a rip off in my judgment, but we'll see.

Contact Speed Ventures here in California. For under $200 for getting on a track and for another $200 for an all day private instructor is a great value. They are having a 2 day session at Thunderhill in Nevada for rear/mid engine cars coming up.
