2007 or 2008 and PPI

Hello all,

Sorry for so many newbie questions but if you had a choice between a ow mile (around 6k miles) 2007 or 2008 with over 10k miles which would you choose? Both are one owner and 2008 is more expensive.

I don't see much difference between the two model years other than the tail light.

On a side note, where should I have the PPI and DME read? At the same Porsche dealership or do I take it to a different dealer? Taking to another dealership might be challenging since the cars are out of state.

Thank you

Tail lights? There shouldn't be a diff between the lights in a 2007-2009.

Take it to another dealer. One that has no financial stake in the results of the PPI and scan.

perhaps previous owner on one swapped out the std. taillights for full red ones, that's all.

Thank you all for the quick reply.

For some reason, a few of the 08's that I was looking at had the full red tail lights - it must have been added subsequently.

dinorocz - thank you! Most of the dealerships have been outside the NY NJ area. I have yet to find what I want (Silver Tip low miles) in our area.
