Trailer Tie Down Advice

Does anyone have advice on how/where to tie down a 997 TT stock wheels to an open trailer? Thru the wheels, to the chassis somehow, etc.

Normally you would go through the barrel of the wheel but this always leaves a mark. They do have tie down eyes available and personally I feel this would be the best way, just make sure you X your straps.

I have the mac's 40 inch wheel straps with the fleece liner. It works well.
