Brake fuid leakage Rotora Big Brake kit

Hi all - i have a puzzle for you. I installed Rotora front and rear brake kits on my 997tt last year for since then everything was fine. until recently, when the frost hit -4F - my board computer said the brake fluid is low. i put some new fluid in, but just in a couple of weeks i got the same problem. I took the car to mechanics and they said ALL FOUR brake calipers let the fluid out... i wrote to Rotora and they said that the car might need a calipers rebuilt. it will cost ~$400 which is not a big deal but i wonder whether its reasonable to rebuild the brakes after 7k miles? i dont track the car and dont push it to extremes... any other reasons for such a problem? thank you in advance!

With no track and being easy on the brakes sounds a bit odd. But why replace in the first place? The reds are pretty damned good for most of us.

Most likely the seals dried up, or possibly although unlikely the bolts holding the caliper half's together have loosened up.

Have you doubled the brake lines? It is just strange that all four started leaking at the same time.

PS, Rotora would never be on my list of brake upgrades.

i am quite experienced in auto-x and the driving rules here allow me to drive aggressively on the streets. This means the brakes don't get red BUT i need (like) more bite / feel on the high speed, which is not the case with the stock red. I regret i didn't get the ceramic ones because they do feel (bite) better than red ones... though the stopping distance is the same...

checked the lines, bolts and stuff - no issues at all. the most probable reason (in my view) is that the rubber seals got stiff because of frost and brake fluid is leaking through them until the moment the seals are heated and stop leaking.

as for rotora upgrade itself - i was happy with them until the last moment
