Below are the measured acceleration times by Sport Auto mag for the 997tt.2.
0-200kph is 10.8s so the thing is in rude health !
200-300kph takes 31.1s
The 480PS 997tt.1 has been extensively tested at around 28.5s for 200-300kph....
So the 480PS 997tt.1 is 2.6s faster 200-300kph than the 500PS 997tt.2 despite the .2 having 2 PDK shifts on the way to help it...
WTF is going on with your dyno, are you not loading it enough or something
0-300 km/h:
24.7s - Koenigsegg CCX-R, 806 PS/1473 kg
26.7s - Gumpert Apollo, 700 PS/1148 kg
29.7s - Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV, 670 PS/1751 kg
40.6s - Wiesmann GT MF5, 507 PS/1421 kg
41.9s - Porsche 997.2 Turbo PDK, 500 PS/1606 kg
50.3s - Porsche GT3, 435 PS/1453 kg
53.7s - Aston Martin V12 Vantage, 517 PS/1709 kg
69.3s - Cadillac CTS-V, 564 PS/1955 kg

Even though Toby has been banned, I wanted to post our test results for the 997.2TT compared to the results he posted from the Sport Auto comparison.
Here is a summary:
000-300 km/h:
997 GT2 (Stock) = 36.2s
997TT.1 (Stock) = 40.7s
997TT.2 (Stock) = 41.9s
997TT.2 (EVOMS Tuned) = 29.90s
200-300 km/h:
997 GT2 (Stock) = 22.1s
997TT.1 (Stock) = 28.5s

I'd really appreciate if u could compare those to a tuned 997.1tt and gt2 .. shows how big the diffrence .. cuz something doesn't make sence what happend between 200-300 acceleration ???
Does this mean that porsche has downgraded the potential of their new 997.2 ?

Very respectable times for such simple mods.
Do you have any insight on the top end speed of the 997.1 vs the 997.2? It seems like it runs out of steam. Do you believe this is due to gearing or is there some other reason why it is slower than the weaker and less efficient 997.1? Thank you.

sorry but i really cant believe that stock 997.1 vs stock 997.2 pdk, the 997.2 will be slower in a drag after 250km/h there isnt REASON...
the PDK PUTS 40WHP MORE than the previous turbo... NO WAY!!!
same conditions i have no doubt the PDK will be always ahead!!!

I'll post a full write up later, but let's just say that I ran about 10 back to back runs that were all in the 10's in this car today. EVT650 FTW. Fastest run of the day was 10.73. Highest trap was 130. The PDK TT is a beast on the drag strip.
