Hub of Center Lock Wheels (Photo)

I have my wheels off my car so i thought I would share a Photo with you of the HUB and breaks. Initially it looks like there are studs they and that you could mount a regular wheel to this. You cannot for two reasons. First, The Center hub is larger than the opening in any standard wheels. Second those things that look like studs coming out of the disks are not threaded on either end. They are held in with a small Torx screw in the center and are not threaded into the hub. Looks great though.

Yes, as you can see these two hubs are very different.

Thanks for the photo. I think someone (maybe Alex@SharkWerks) said the center-locks are an adapter that fits into the standard lug attachments. It makes you think retro-fiting the center-locks might not be that difficult.

hope so

Center lock wheels was the one option I wanted that didn't come on my car.

kewl. I really like the center locks. It just gives the wheel a clean look. I hope they become more common.
