I am unclear on how to use this. According the the manual for use with the battery in the car, you just plug it into the console outlet, run the cord out and plug it into the wall. The orange light comes on , and I believe you leave it like that. My question is are you supposed to hit the mode button twice to get to the icon of the porsche? I think in the manual it states you only do that if the battery is outside of the car. My SA states you are supposed to hit the mode button the the car icon when the battery is in the vehicle.

 

Plug it into the cigarette lighter, hit the mode button until it's on the car icon, then plug it into the wall. If it is the techquipment model, I use the same one since 2 years, no problems.
