The Ultimate in Braking - Brembo Custom Race Brakes
With OVER 150 World Championships in top level motorsports (more than ANY other brake manufacturer in the world), it’s no secret as to who is the #1 choice when it comes to high performance braking. Always at the forefront of technology and innovation, Brembo is consistently raising the bar in which most other brake kit suppliers are forced to stand on piles of creative marketing and gimmicks to even attempt to reach at. So what is it that makes the best, the best? And when a company of Brembo’s stature makes it a philosophy to let the products speak for themselves, even going out the their way to avoid the games played with marketing and propaganda, how do you choose which of their world class product lines to handle the braking tasks for your ride? This is where Vivid Racing steps in with years of knowledge and first hand experience, as one of Brembo’s largest and most established Authorized Dealers to help make your choice a little easier.

Believe it or not...and most people have no idea if they don't watch the sport...but NASCAR is one of (if not "THE") most demanding racing series for brakes.
This is partly due to the power to weight ratios of the vehicles, also due to the very restrictive size of the wheels for brakes, and very much a factor of the nearly highest average speeds of practically any racing series in the world.
Even if you are not a NASCAR fan...here's a really interesting read about the Braking Facts for the vehicles at each track from the 2009 race season...
http://www.brembo.com/BNA/Nascar/2009/
Click on a track, and take a look to the bottom right hand corner to read the "COMMENTS" box for each track.
You can also click on the actual "braking zones" of each track layout and see the average speeds entering the corner and the exit speeds after the braking cycle.
It's really cool stuff. Brembo also does this for the Formula 1 circuits each season.
