Tyre pressure

Why does my tyre pressure meter always read 3psi lower than actual?
I pump the tyres to 34Front/39Rear according to manual. I test this number using several tyres gauge so it must be correct number.
But the display monitor (MID) in the car reads 31psi Front/ 36psi Rear, so there is pressure low warning.
If I reset the tyre pressure in the MID in this pressure reading, would the low pressure warning dissapear?
What is the use of reset tyre pressure after inflating tyres?

There have been other threads about this. Pretty much standard that they read about 3 psi low.

I have a 2007 Turbo and my tire pressure guage on the dash is always off by 3 lbs also!
Once tires warm up and your dash guage shows 33 front and 39 rear, you are OK. Real pressure is going to be 36 front, 42 rear. Seems to be a common issue
