Coolant fluid

After track the car for about 30 minutes, when driving back the car home, the check coolant level warning sign light on. Then after 2 or 3 minutes it's turns off.
At home I checked the coolant level after the engine cool off, and The level is low I have to add 2.5 liters to bring to max level.
Is it normal the car loosing coolant after track day (I never has this problem before / I never add collant before)
My car has 7000 miles, and mod to 700HP.

check your manual but I believe when cold the coolant level should be at min not max...better check some hoses and make sure you aren't losing some somewhere
