iPod for 08 Turbo

I have been getting crazy prices to integrate my iPod with the radio but friends have been telling me that I should be able to attach the iPod through the auxiliary plug that should be on the back of the radio.
I am not concerned with controlling the unit through the radio, doing it through the iPod would be fine.
Does anyone know if this is possible? Is there an auxiliary jack on our radios?

PCM 2.1 does not have an aux or iPod interface. There is a Porsche add on which transmits via RF modulation. There are also aftermarket solutions.

PCM 3.0 has an aux/iPOD interface if ordered form the factory. You can also order the parts to install it.

Porsche dealers also sell the Dension retrofit kit installed for 996/997 with Nav. It installs into the fiber optic loop. It's expensive $1K. It does display an Ipod like menu and is controlled by the stock head unit. There is also a Porsche RF unit that plugs into the antenna cable so it's slightly better than the aftermarket RF units that transmit to the antenna. However all the controls are still on the IPOD, but it's much cheaper.
