Power quotes and Fueling.

I've been reading a while but decided it was time to come out of the bushes and dip a toe into the fountain of knowledge we have here. I currently run a '09 997 Turbo tip, and it's come to that time of the year that I have to decide whether to keep it or move on to a GTR - yeah I know, some may think I need professional help. If I decide to keep the Turbo, then I fear I may have to follow the well trodden path which leads to more power; this is where my query lies.

I have noticed a running theme emerging on here with some of the upgrade kits quoting 650+whp. Why is there very rarely any mention of fuel systems being upgraded? I'm led to believe that the 997 turbo runs 60lb (630cc) injectors, and I can't see how these can support 650+WHP without saturating. Are these figures being banded about actually flywheel power (FWHP) or does the Porsche run a ridiculously high fuel pressure which would give a little more leeway. I just find 630cc and 750WHP in the same sentence hard to believe.

Secondly, what has been people's experiences with the Tip' box and increased power? The limits of its power handling seems to be like opinions; everyone has got one but nothing is definitive.
