BMW M5 stronger than 997 TT, what to do?
New BMW M5 is coming, and coming stronger than it was before.
555-580 bhp out of a 4.4L twin turbo power plant.
997 TTs, either 480 hp or 500 hp, how are we going to keep pace with these M5s?
Imagine, after a couple of years, these M5s will get a reflash, increasing power output to 600-650 bhp.
What are we going to do?
I love my 997TT and I dont like the idea of watching the taillights of a 4 door car.

well u always have the choice to boost up ur 997tt no matter what ur up agains .. If this is a big deal to u !
anyhow, why would u campare the new M5 to the 997tt though it's not even available for sale until probably next year !

CTS-V is already at 556 hp and 551 lb ft, its still not anywhere close to the 997.2 Turbo in a straight line due to its weight difference. If the M5 can do 0-60 in 2.9 and stay with a ZR1 through 130 mph and trap 130 mph I will sell my soul to get one!
I don't understand the question? Just sell one of your existing BMW's or add to your existing BMW collection and buy the new M5 too. It should be the best 4 door (and certainly will be mod friendly) to date.

since its now based on the 7 series, so M5 will most likely weight at least that!
