I have the 997 tt w/ Fabbi exhaust, headers, ECU tune, lowered suppension etc...the car handles well (better then stock), sounds great
and amazing power w/ approx 600 HP............until I take my stock Scuderia out for a drive....so far nothing I have driven (including the new 997tt 2) compares to this Ferrari!! Looking forward to the new 458 Italia and the new 998 tt...it just keeps getting better for us all...gentlemen.

btw. Congrats on the new 997tt 2 w/ PDK...its a great Porsche!!

Nice write up, congrats, I did the same from 997.1tt silver cab to 997.2tt black cab, I agree with every point on your write up its very addicting i did 500 miles in one day,

Please treat your PDK Turbos with respect, so that in 4 years I can trade my 2007 Turbo for one. I don't mind feeding off the crumbs that fall out of your mouths.

LOL - me too! All of these videos and reviews got me thinking about the PDK.

I too have 997.2TT PDK lust....my friend has one and traded his Ferrari 430 for it...great sounding and looking car but it is nowhere close in terms of performance.

Here is the plan: 2112 there will be no TT, right, but a new model introduced in 2113.

Hopefully that will mean that the price for a 2111 will come down

Yep - my thoughts exactly. By then we should have a very good idea how reliable PDKs are.

Thanks so much all for your responses! I was checking the thread from my iPhone while on a visit to one of our kids schools in Mass.

I just flew in from the east coast.....hours of driving, two planes, etc. Im so burnt out that it's a joke BUT, Im actually thinking of taking a drive in the TT right now.

Maybe a nap first...HAHA!
