Friend is thinking of selling 08' Turbo Cab for 08' Gallardo Spyder
My friend has a beautiful triple black 08' Turbo Cab. tip. He's being lured into an 08' Gallardo Spyder. He's says the Gallardo get more attention and that get s his attention! Give me your feedback on his decision to switch! They offered him 105k for his car and their asking 160k for theirs.

I have a gallardo and let me tell you if anything the attention is annoying. Not only that it doesn't pick up super model sexy girls. Just gold diggers, cops, and a lot of dudes bugging you everytime you get gas or park somewhere. Buying a Lamborghini shouldn't be about look at me look at me in my opinion. It's about the song of the engine past 5k rpms and feeling those shifts. Why not go to the 2010 turbo and custom order it? also 160 is a bit high for 08 spyder.

I don't know why anyone would want the attention that a Lambo gets you. I have a Ford GT which draws at least as big a crowd, and it's the only downside to the car.
But if that's what he wants, the Lambo will get it. However, like the FGT, they are such different animals versus the Porsche. The Porsche is really the supercar you can drive every day. And everywhere. These real exotics are simply too ostentatious, too finicky, too expensive to maintain (neither are true for the Ford actually), too little ground clearance to be used as anything but weekend drivers and crowd gathering devices.
I bought my GT because I fell in love with one in the sixties when Ford beat Ferrari. I'm happy to look in to my garage every night and just smile. But I'm very happy that I can drive my 997 wherever I want.
ADD a Lambo? Sure. Replace the Porsche? Never.

i too looked @ the 08 gallardo spider (ORANGE/quilted alcantera!
) and was offered 180K with <250mis. almost pulled the trigger until i saw gallardo get beat by M6 on YouTube
went with 09 tt and have never looked back (tt beat both M6 & gallardo on same YouTube vid). lambo is an attention getter and the SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!! LP560-4 spider on the other hand is a game changer
