Jamie,

I ran my friends new 997.2 TT w/ PDK and it was shockingly fast. On pump (1.1 bars) I have to make sure I am in my power band, not give him the jump, and even then I was barely putting a length on him.

The first time I gave him a jump, wanting to be nice and vastly underestimating the car and he immediately went out 2 lengths and I was only able to close 1 by 130. This is a bone stock car!

Yea, they are really impressive bone stock. Do a relatively mild 600whp build and as a street race car, will be VERY hard to beat from a dig. And the wife can drive it too!

I would have gotten one over my GTR if it came out a year earlier....

A car like this is exactly the reason I sold my Supra... Sure it turned those 1/4 times and better but You had to drive the **** out of it to do it. I've always been into manual cars, but now have taken a liking lately to any of these SMG/DSG/PDK etc cars. I was alittle scared of the Tiptronic when I purchased my 997TT (work on Audi/VW autos every week) So went with the 6-Speed. When a nicely priced used PDK turbo shows up, ill be sure to ****** one up!

If its not too much trouble, could you look back at your PBox data and give us the 60-130 time?

Admiral - I salute you! WOW.
It's already hard enough to stay out of jail with a stock 997tt 6speed, that beasty would be trouble for me. But it would wipe the smile off my C6 Z06 owning neighbour, can I borrow it?
