What signal are you referencing here? The GPS signal or something else?

 

GPS. He mentions a possible issue with signal quality in his OP. To get a 4.1s, he needs to average 0.69g. His peak g shows 0.5. Even with the latest recording of 4.2, the peak g 0.6 is too low. Something weird is going on. Need to insert the SD card and show the plot. V is also off.

I don't think he is "killing" the time but still... He's running about the same with flash, fabspeed intake, exhaust, CF wheels. His point is that stock vtgs are just as good at upgraded ones between 100-200.

 

Modified turbos shine above 200km...At these speeds they are faster than any stock VTG car...Stock VTGs perform their best up to 200-220km...

 

And 200-300 in 12.2sec

Hopefully next week i will have them installed...I already did some IAT logs to see where i stand with stock ICs...I believe with 4,5inch ICs the car will show its full potential...imagine that in logs timing was not too high...On a run from 80 to 270 km with 20c ambient temp,IAT started at 29c and reached 71c...So above 55c DME reterder timing...When installation is complete i will log again all data and post a thread here...I am almost sure i will see lower IAT values...The ICs i got are Markskis 4,5 race ICs...Mark does an excellent job here for many years and his help was second to none...So now its the time to let his work shine at my car,and make my times better...

 

That's only an opportunity, I don't care Euro or US...

I noticed the US tuners are using easier big boost (>1.2/1.3) than Euro tuners, in particular near germany where their customers can stay at high speed several kms, so they stay softer. (their explanation, I saw Sportec, Ofzky, RS...)

In the Vid the GT2 is behind at the end, they speak about aero, but I do not think that's all: the Turbo's 6th gear is a bit shorter than GT2's one (45km vs 49km/h at 1000rpm), it could help to reach 300 and dis-help after...

My logs are same: 3 gears full (3-4-5) and >70°C IAT...

When 100-200, is your car full boost when you reach 100?
I think my lost is there cause even when starting at 60km/h I'm not really full boost (in 3rd) unless 110km/h.
When new Ic's I will retune harder the car, actually less boost than stock GT2...
Didn't you Vbox 100-300? (or 270)

 

i own a tip car...so boost is always there...100-200 starts with 2nd gear for me...I ve also logged a 200-250 around 6sec...Tomorrow i will recieve the ICs...lets see if i ll find time to install them on Friday...
