Oops you misunderstood ... Or I may have not explained so well... I did try all OTHER tunes including custom, well known, local tunes etc in the past!
I now have the one only tune APR offers globally without any alterations whatsoever... So that you get the picture I asked for a slightly increased limiter only in 4th gear to 7000rpm so that I could record 60-130 equally with the rest of you guys without needing to change to 5th for a split second and the answer was NO. They would not do it! So thid tune is in fact an off the shelve tune - the exact same tune as Sksndalis and Usp etc...

I paid 3000 euro when you guys can get it for 2500$$$...
But it works!!!!!!

the answer was NO
For 3K euro I would expect a bit more...even paying a little extra cash.
But "NO" isn't in my acceptable answers list..

Yes, your list and mine my friend as well...and I was frustrated when theytold me...
However, they did explain to me that they had not done proper testing (as thorough as they would like) with raised rev limits for their tune -mainly because one does not need to exceed 6500rpm since he will be out of the efficient torque/power band- and they would not want to give me something that would not be 100% safe and reliable...

After thinking about it I have to say I agree and I am pretty sure for sake of argument that if I twisted their arm a bit more and assumed the responsiblity they would agree to do it a the end... (no extra cost invloved)

Well, if they put it this way then I can get it. It seems a pretty valid reason to say no.
Have fun!

Wow--you nailed it! Outstanding time for just a flash and exhaust. Next time when you get a chance, maybe you can run it just in 4th, 0 shifts. It would be interesting to compare.

Congratulations for awesome ran!!

Lately i noticed that there some cars ( including ur current ran ) ran more than 0.8-1sec when we compare 100-200 to 60-130.

In ur ran the differance is almost 1.5sec

Quickest 6speed modded vtg's ran 100-200 5.7sec ( which is slower than ur car ) and the 60-130 6.6sec ( which is quicker than ur car ).

Couple of Q for u

1- There plenty of happy and unhappy 997tt's with same ur tune and they never get like ur results...What do u think??

2- In ur sig

Matte Grey 997tt 09, APR tune/Europipe EP2 100-200kmh:5.59sec..60-130 7.09
Jet black 997tt 08, Salias tune/Switzer exhaust 60-130mph: 7.18sec

The 2nd car has local tune or what???

He ran out of gearing, had to shift into 5th to get 130. He's on trajectory for 6.5-6.6 if rev limiter was increased.

Kostas Jet black car had a raised rev limit,so he reached 130 with 4th gear instead of 5th on the current car...APR tune needs 2 changes to reach 130mph,starting from 3rd gear...

Madsex,
You could try slightly larger tires next time you change them. This might get you above 130 at the top of fourth without moving the limiter.

So that's why they ran almost same??? and the Salias tune extend the rev limiter to 7000???

Top tuners in U.S extend the rev limiter to 7000-7200 for a years now and we never saw a car ran that fast ( like Kostas Jet black car w/Salias tune )

Is that mean that Salias tune better than SPI/Proto and EVOMS if im not mistaken... ( No disrespect for Salias tune of course ) ??

Again we NEVER EVER saw a car even a APR tune or any other top tuner in U.S ran like ur car or madsex..There is unhappy members with APR tune.

I still think that ur pumpgas is the main reason

I havent seen any APR client not happy so far...At least they dont write here...Well,our pump gas is not the best and the main reason for our performance is the tune itself...At the end this has to be understood here...When there was only my car flashed some fellow members were a bit skeptical about it...But we have two cars now...So its not a coinsidence...
P.S. about Salias,he is a well known tuner (ECU) here...Together we ve built many P cars inclding my previous 996TT that run 6,32 verified 60-130 with 18g turbos...some years ago...
