Launch techniques with tiptronic
on a drag strip or at the lights, what is the best method of launching with tiptronic?
Turn ON sport mode,
Put into 1st gear
How do I keep the revs at 3500 or 4000 rpm steady?

psm off, sport on,tiptronic to drive, full brake (i mean really hard brake)with left feet, pedal to the metal with right feet(dont push the kickdown)...wait 5 seconds as the car vibrates, observe the boost goes 0,7-0,8 and let go the brake...Have your p box turned on...you will love the results...
this procedure is called brake boosting...i dont know whether there is a launch control as well...

But on a car with modded VTG's as another member said, for the tiptronic to fail its a matter of time.
