overboost without suspension stiffening
overboost without suspension stiffening
I noticed that if I turned off the stiffer setting on the suspension that the sport button still stayed lit. Does that mean that you still get the overboost without having to put up with the stiffer suspension? Sorry if the answer is in the manual but there's no time to read the manual with this kind of car fun.
Precisely. I typically turn on sport and turn off PASM firm anytime other than the track. I like the better throttle response.
. PASM is the suspension setting for hard and soft
.
Yes If thats switched off then you may have some serious problems if you are not carefull

without the PASM on u'll feel the air flow under the car playing with the aerodynamic and how the car is jumping u'll feel like u easily can lose control !
but in other hand keeping the PASM on with the suspension helps to keep the car more stable and stiffer like one piece with the road ..

well said honestly the 997tt 4 wheel drive is a bit high from ground and and suspension is not really the best, due to high speeds around 260-300km/h u cant keep the car in one line , not really cant but u'll feel how unstable it is .

Being able to do that makes one think seriously about changing countries. 322 just once per month would be good enough for me in Tip,Stick or PDK....well....maybe more than once if one do that kind of thing without any fuss being made

lol. We don't need to worry about those speeds up here either. Anything over 150km/h means trouble...if caught.
The stiffer setting might be better on the track but it's not needed on the roads up here. Although some roads are decent there are enough bumps to render the stiffer suspension setting unnecessary at least for me. Now the overboost is another story. I like it and can use it anywhere without worrying about my fillings falling out.
