Dealer replaced the relay as it was bad. How ever it was only because I pushed to find out why they went with a 7.5amp fuse. 7.5 amp fuse was the lazy fix by a second rate tech. Master tech found relay was bad and replace relay and reinstalled correct fuse.

I've got the same problem in my 08 TT Cab. Can you tell me where the relay and fuse are located?

I had exactly the same issue. Fan warning light on dash, replaced fuse. Eventually fan replaced under warranty. No issues since.
